Carpeting made from pure new wool, especially New Zealand wool, combines aesthetics, comfort and functionality at the highest level. In this article, we show why investing in high-quality wool carpeting pays off in the long term – for living spaces as well as for certain staircases.
1. Durability and hard-wearing
Carpets made from pure new wool are particularly hard-wearing. New Zealand wool fibres are naturally strong, elastic and dimensionally stable. This means that they retain their appearance and structure for years, even when subjected to heavy use, such as in hallways or frequently walked-on areas.
2. Climate-regulating and naturally breathable
Wool is a natural climate regulator. It absorbs excess moisture from the air and releases it again when the air is dry. This ensures a balanced indoor climate – without the need for technical aids.
