For more than four decades, PFLÜGER KG, based in Düsseldorf, has stood for tailor-made interior design solutions in the luxury segment.
Founded in 1981 by Harald Pflüger, the company has evolved from a specialist carpet agency into a recognized name in high-end interior design.
From commercial agency to interior brand.
With in-depth industry knowledge gained at Moquette Industrie Deventer (M.I.D.) and a keen eye for quality, Harald Pflüger founded his own commercial agency in 1981.
Early on, he focused on close, long-term partnerships with exclusive furnishing houses, interior decorators and architectural firms – laying the foundation for a growing network of renowned design studios and architects.
A milestone: OT-Oliver Treutlein:
In creative collaboration with Prof. Manfred Bremeier and Oliver Treutlein, the OT-Oliver Treutlein GmbH brand was established.
Based in Meerbusch, the company combined design, production and distribution in a collection that set new standards for handcrafted, one-of-a-kind carpets and premium flooring.
Generational change & new direction.
In 1991, Lars Pflüger joined the company with the vision of expanding the brand beyond carpets into a versatile provider of interior design manufacturing products.
In 1999, the company was renamed PFLÜGER KG – Sales Company for Interior Design Manufacturers, introducing a new guiding principle:

The sudden passing of Harald Pflüger in 2000 was a profound loss to the family and the industry.
Since then, Lars Pflüger has continued to lead the company with foresight and in the spirit of his father.
Expansion of the portfolio – international brand diversity:
- 2016: Integration of the French label NOBILIS Fontan – renowned for elegant wall coverings and textiles.
- 2020: Partnership with Swiss company thesign AG, founded by Patrick Stieger.
- 2025: Acquisition of thesign by Chase Erwin London – further enriching the international brand portfolio.

Since 2024, PFLÜGER KG has been an official partner of the DESIGN.SMART.HOME network – an alliance of around 30 qualified craft businesses and more than 50 industry partners.
The one-stop concept enables tailor-made interior projects with a single point of contact, presented in six showrooms across North Rhine-Westphalia.
In the same year, PFLÜGER KG also began its collaboration with BOND | Unique Homes®, a leading provider of high-end interior design, smart home solutions and modern construction project management.
This partnership merges sophisticated design with cutting-edge technology to create the living concepts of tomorrow.
